Launch of Easier and Better
While our sister ship Faster already did a head start last September paving a path through the ICON space, Better and Easier are finally ready to launch! One travelling with a simulation ghost and the latter planning its Mission to MARS.
The Module Better follows its sister ship Faster in providing a scalable development: defining, fine-tuning and testing components in ICON and provide a shadowing system - simulation ghost –, so that IFS-FESOM can assess ICON-based future projections and additional information for climate trajectories can be harvest. Module Easier will open a gate to a scalable workflow by encapsulating the information content in the models and observational data to translate them into an intuitive and reproducible language for users and stakeholders (Mission to MARS).
