A central objective of WarmWorld is to provide opportunities for Early Career Scientists and to encourage more women scientists to join the community of Earth-System informatics. How? By creating training opportunities that stimulate exchange between the fields of applied maths and informatics, and climate and weather modeling.

At the end of August 2024 we partner with ESiWACE3 for a Summer School on outskirts of Helsinki. During a week of lively exchange, math, informatics, and geoscience students, as well as Early Career Researchers, are invited to learn about concepts of high-performance computing relevant to climate and weather modelling. The participants will enjoy lectures from experts in both fields, all in a beautiful Nordic at the Hotelli Korpilampi.

Have we piqued your interest? Or, perhaps you have someone in mind who might be excited to join us in Finland? Find more details here and feel free to share the event!
